Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Itemize AI: Receipt Scanner ("Itemize AI", "the app") handles your information.

Receipt images

When you scan a receipt, the image is transmitted securely to Google Vertex AI for AI processing. Itemize AI does not keep receipt images after processing. Google processes the data under its Vertex AI data governance and privacy terms, and customer data is not used to train Google's foundation models.

Receipt data

The information extracted from your receipts (merchant, date, items, prices, categories and tags) is stored in the app on your device, together with any backups you choose to create.

Analytics and attribution

The app collects identifiers (such as a device ID) and usage data (product interaction) for analytics and to measure where installs come from. This data may be linked to your device and used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, where you have allowed it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

This website does not use advertising cookies. It may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to count visits.
